I embraced a feline about 3 years ago. She was increased in a cage for the very first 6 months of her life, that’s when I got her. I have had nothing however affectionate, docile cats. Yes, the last two were perfect!! Laura, my embraced feline is not affectionate however does “talk” to me as well as complies with me everywhere I go. She will sleep on the bed with me, sit in my lap etc. The issue is if she is on the counter as well as I walk by or go to provide her a quick pet she bites me viciously!! great deals of anti-biotic cream as well as bandages. She has done this about 10 times since I got her. I am just damaged hearted. I miss my loving cats so much. I have always had more than one feline at a time. would getting one more feline help? I wouldn’t let her be embraced out since I wouldn’t want anyone else to get as hurt,physically, as I have. I miss having a loving, calm cat. Please help.

If you haven’t already done so, take your feline to the vet, Sharon. While I suspect that her biting is habits related, it’s always finest to rule out any type of medical issues. based on your description, this is either a territorial problem or it’s play aggression. I would think about working with a feline behaviorist to get to the root of this issue.
