Helping cats in need is as easy as 1…2…3!

On October 8 and 9, Petco is celebrating national Adoption Reunion.  The campaign is designed to celebrate adopted pets and the people who help them find loving homes. and you can help cats (and dogs, too) who are still looking  for their forever homes, and it’s as easy as 1…2…3!

1.  stories of Love.

Share  your pet adoption story and photo of your pet online and enter their sweepstakes between September 1- October 31. PETCO will donate $1 to pet adoption organizations nationwide for each photo uploaded and you could win great prizes. visit petco.com/reunion to enter.

2.  A little bit of social “pet” working.

Simply  check in on the Facebook app with your smart phone at any Petco location during the national Adoption reunion on October 8-9. Petco will  donate $1 to pets in need for each check in.

3.  open your heart and home.

Meet  adoptable pets all weekend long for the national Adoption reunion October 8-9. Plus, receive a free commemorative collar charm. Your newest feline family member can’t wait to meet you!

For more information about Petco’s national Adoption reunion weekend and how you can help, please visit Petco’s website or Facebook page.

I adopted Allegra on April 6 of last year, and Ruby on April 17 of this year. We celebrate being together every day, but maybe we’ll find some extra special way to celebrate this weekend. how will you celebrate national Adoption Reunion?

In this case, the thanks belong to Petco, Rumpy – I’m just helping spread the word.

Nice!

I’m far away but always willing to participate. Adoption programs have a special place in my heart. ?

The three wonderful boys that live with me, came home in three different ways.
I adopted the first one -and his sister, that is no longer with us- thanks to an add at our vet’s, 12 years ago. I found the second one under a bench at the bus stop where I take the bus to work, 4 years ago. The third one came from a shelter, two months ago.

Three stories, a loving pack.

We’re heading over to participate. My neighborhood Petco has excellent Pet Adoption Days with local rescue groups.

Love it! I adopted Cody from an adoption event at a Petco (which is no longer here) in 2007!
