I’ll admit it: I’m a wimp when it pertains to pain, so there is not a chance that I’ll ever get a real tattoo. I do, however, like the look of tastefully done tattoos, and if I ever were to get one, it would, of course, be a cat tattoo.
And thanks to Kate Benjamin’s most current venture, Cattoo Design, I was able to get my very own cat tattoo! Kate recently launched a line of momentary cat tattoos, and she sent me a few to try.
I chose the Tribal sitting cat and the Tribal cat face designs. I made a decision to apply the sitting cat to the outside of my leg, just above the ankle. We still had a few days that were warm enough to at least wear capri length pants, so I thought it would be a good way to show off my new tattoo.
The tattoo was incredibly easy to apply: simply press to clean skin, hold a wet cloth against the tattoo for 30 seconds, peel off backing, rinse and voila! I was inked! I wanted to try and get a picture of my new tattoo, but I’m not a pretzel, so I set the cam on the lowest shelf of my book case and used the self timer. What I didn’t realize was that Ruby and Allegra were behind me, enjoying intently. Don’t you just love how this photo turned out?
I was shocked how long the tattoo lasted. I put it on on last Monday. It lasted until Friday. even with daily showers and shaving my leg, it still looked really great by the fifth day. I got lots of compliments on the tattoo, and a lot of people were shocked when I told them that it was fake.
To purchase the tattoos, please visit Cattoo Design. At $5 for a pack of two tattoos, these make great stocking stuffers for the cat lover on your list. They would also make a fun insert to send along with birthday or holiday cards – they don’t weigh much, so there wouldn’t even be a need for extra postage.
And we’re giving away two complimentary tattoos to one lucky winner – winner gets to choose the designs! To enter the giveaway, please share the following in a comment: if you have a tattoo, please tell us where and what it is. If you don’t have a tattoo, tell us whether you would consider getting one, and what kind? For an additional chance to win, tweet about this giveaway or share on Facebook and leave the link in a separate comment. For yet another chance to win, like Cattoo designs on Facebook and tell us in a separate comment that you did. This giveaway ends Tuesday, November 1.

I have liked Cattoo Design’s page. I have two tiny hearts tattooed near my stomach button and one heart ona vine curling around the outside of my left ankle. I would really like to get some a lot more tattoos but I don’t know what to get or where to put them. LOL! They say they are addicting, I believe it!
If I were to win the cat tattoos, I would proudly wear them!!
Thank you

I have a tattoo of a cat standing on its hind legs reaching up to the sky with a paw. I had it done 10 years ago, it’s on my lower back. I want to get another cat tattoo in the near future, but I would looooooooove the momentary ones as well!!!! pick me!

Had considered getting a lady dragon tat, but the cost was pretty much prohibitive. A momentary tat would be great cause I have a skin disease that makes me itch everywhere, and I’m not looking forward to having something permanent until that goes away. thanks would love it. I have 3 kittees and a grandson who isn’t delighted at the moment, but he likes to enjoy ’em (at 4 months).

I have a tattoo on my ideal leg just above the ankle. It’s of a teddy bear that I use on my service cards. It took me 6 months to design it and get up enough nerve to have it done. I’m thinking of adding a kitty or 2 to the same leg.
